PROJECT SAMPLES
RAPIDE BLANC GENERATING STATION
The Rapide Blanc hydroelectric generating station is located on the Saint-Maurice River, approximately 60 kilometers north of La Tuque, in Quebec, Canada.
IDAE participates in the safety assessment of both the infrastructure and superstructure of this generating station affected by the alkali-aggregate reaction.
ROMAINE IV GENERATING STATION
Romaine IV is a power plant under construction with a planned capacity of 245 MW. It is part of the RomaIne project which will have a total power of 1550 MW.
The IDAE team is contributing to this major project with design audits using nonlinear finite element analysis.

The Mactaquac hydroelectric facility is New Brunswick's largest generating station. The structure is affected by the alkali-aggregate reaction.
